This beautifully printed full-color spiral-bound prayer book presents two versions of The Rule of the Theotokos (Mother of God):

• the traditional rule according to St. Seraphim of Sarov

• an alternative using 15 wonderworking icons and their troparia

Each decade is accompanied by a corresponding icon in full color on the facing page.

Proceeds from the sale of this book go to constructing the Garden of the Rule of the Mother of God at the Convent of St. Mary Magdalene in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Once established, we will welcome pilgrims to pray the Rule with us in Her garden.

We recommend a prayer rope such as a length of 150 or 50 or 30 divided into decades (separated into groups of 10 knots/beads).   The entire rule is 150 recitations of the Angelic Salutation prayer, but you can do just 50 a day or as many as time permits.
